    Hi - quick question:

How difficult / cumbersome is it to get a door or a window replaced once alarm sensors are installed? Do I need to involve the alarm company again?

    Thank you,

You should have no problems disconnecting & reconnecting them.
Make a note of any connections & what colours are used etc.

Doors are normally easier than windows because it doesn't involve re-routing cables to accommodate new openings.
As koolkid said, keep note of wiring and you should be fine.

If you take the sensors off the window or door the alarm will activate (providing the sensors are tampered) but entering your code will disarm the alarm till you put the sensors back on the new window or door.
