Hotels in Torremolinos - Young and Lively

    Looking for a bit of help here guys.

    Looking for the names of hotels which would be suitable for a small crowd of 21-25yr olds (8 people), doesnt have to be top of the range, close to pubs and clubs etc.

    Have Melia Costa del Sol booked at the moment and not sure if its a bit too old of an average stayer for us, might be lacking in atmosphere. Open to correction though!!

    If you are looking for a lively place, the Timor Sol or the Sol Aloha Puerto are right on the Carihuela Beach and a stones throw from the Marina in Benalmadena. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and Irish Bars around here.

    If I were you I would stay away from 24hr square. It's full of Irish and British who can't handle their drink and it can get roudy enough. After 11pm you'll see most girls carrying their shoes and puking on the street. It wasn't a good experience and it's why Spanish girls don't like men from Ireland or England.

    The Marina at Benalmadena is lovely, so you should stick to the pubs in that area. Lots of Spanish people drink along there, and there's a few English/Irish places too that don't have the crowd you get on 24 hour square.

    Ike-Bona does amazing cocktails after 4pm and you just HAVE to try them.
