Good news for the North East. Coca-Cola have donated a substantial amount of money to revamp the Lourdes Track. It will be a great boost to the area. There is already a huge interest in running in the general Drogheda area. Our local clubshave Drogheda and District and Boyne AC (juniors) are getting a lot of new members.

We also have created a new floodlit grass track in Meadowview for training on. :D

Delighted to hear it. Drogheda and District always turn out in numbers to support club races and Boyne AC have a great bunch of juveniles judging by the numbers down at the Leinster's last weekend.

Delighted to hear this I remember running in it years ago when Lourdes AC had it (I presume they are gone now)- it should never have been left to ruin the way it was.
