New scam

    I'd hope that nobody would be foolish enough to fall for this but anyway. There's people calling from a call centre based in India ringing people and saying that they received a notification about a computer problem and that they can fix this "problem".

    Basically they tell you to turn on your computer so they can gain access to your computer in order to obtain credit card information.

    In some cases they may even ask you to give out credit card details over the phone so they can fix the "problem".

    They rang me last week and when I queried them as to how they got my information details they told me I had filled out a survey online which I didn't.

    So just be wary about it.
