If you were to do further study (already a Chartered Accountant) in the area of tax-would you choose AITI or the new course being offered by ICAI?

Tax exams (AITI) because surely does an extra set of exams is just to add initials and CV build so go with the best - AITI.

Depends on what you want to do. If you intend practicing as an accountant in a large firm the ICAI route is shorted and my fit your needs. If you intend to go solo some day or practice in a SME firm a more fundamental understanding of tax would be obtained thru the AITI route.

    I'm AITI.
