    Yes, but not out-of-the-box; it doesn't come with a MPEG-4/H.264 codec.

    I got the same sku last year, and have it working with AltDVB (free) and CoreAVC (pay), though I've heard the PowerDVD demo installs a H.264 codec. There may be other H.264 alternatives.

    I didn't care much for the included software either, hence going with AltDVD.

    DivX 8 gives you a decent enough H.264 codec
