Universal power supply doesn,t fit advice needed

i have a dell laptop and a universal power supply .The power/voltage rating is ok ,but my psu round plug is too small ,can i get an adaptor that,ll make it 3 times bigger to fit into the dell.ie the round bit that goes in is too small. I KNOW I can just buy a dell psu from ebay, im curious is there a way to use my…

Sure doesn't seem very Universal then, does it.

Most truly Universal Adapters I have seen come with a huge assortment of plugs and ways to select your Voltage and Amperage.
