Cliffs of Moher

The OH's favourite place is the Cliffs of Moher in Clare. Was going to bring her there in July.

Can anyone recommend a nice, reasonably priced B&B in the area? It is very hard to judge from online photos and it seems a bit much to be paying €70 for a night in a B&B (Though I stand to be corrected)

    Any advice welcomed

Stay in Doolin, it's just a couple of miles up the road. Stay in the Tir gan Ean hotel, rooms around €60 and it's nice.

Start saving now for the rip-off parking charges at the cliffs.

Ah, give up on that. It's about €8 per car and no entry fee after that unless you want to enter the visitor center. If €8 bothers a couple they may as well stay at home.

it was just 8 euro for the car, had good parking, and a great time, and that was for 2 of us, so we did not see it as over the limit, well worth it, the way this place is kept, they need to pay people, it is just awsome you will be amazed, butiful shops, cafes and all built into the landscape, fab, you could spend as long as you like there, 2 hrs go by very fast there are lovely walks and the cliffs are beautiful

I was there last week and was also thinking the parking was a bit of a rip-off as it was always free. Then I remembered that is in line for the new 7 wonders. I went to see the pyramids in Cairo and it cost a hell of a lot more.
