Moscow Airports

I may be travelling in the near future and was wondering what experiences travellers had of the various Moscow Airports.

I understand Sheremetyevo (SVO) has/had an appalling reputation.
http://www.svo.aero/en/ (Aeroflot, KLM, Alitalia, Malev, SAS, Turkish, Finnair, CSA, Air France, Delta).

    Domodedovo (DME)
http://www.domodedovo.ru/en/main/timetablenew/airlines/?r=2 (Air Berlin, Serbian Airlines S7, Lufthansa, Air Italy, Etithad, Brussels Airlines, TAP, Iberia, Spanair, Turkish Airlines)

    Vnukovo (VKO)
    http://www.vnukovo.ru/eng/index.wbp (German Wings)

Was it Sheremetyevo that all the Western Airlines used to fly into until sometime in the early nineties, maybe KLM started flying into Domodedovo? And many of the other W. E. airlines followed. But my memory may be failing, unless KLM changed back to SVO.

What kind of services are available?
Transport to the Underground from the airport?

    Thanks
    Liam

I flew into SVO back in 2002... it was a dull depressing place to be honest.

It feels a little strange because ( like Kiev where I have also visited quite a bit ) the duty free/bars are run by Aer Rianta .
