    As per the title!

I got a bottle of this stuff and it's supposed to be very good to clean the combustion chambers, fuel injectors, catalytic converter etc.

Just wondering if anyone has used it and if so, did they notice a difference in engine performance?

Never used it, but I sometimes use stuff called '44K'. Brilliant at cleaning the engine, and lowering emissions for the NCT.

Used before the NCT, good stuff i reckon. Can't say i noticed any increase
in performance, but it was a bit easier on petrol afterwards i found.
    So worth a try.

Max - I've heard of that stuff alright. Never used it. Actually I've never used anything like this except that STP Pre NCT stuff on my last car!

Nice one! I've got a Mazda RX-8 which I've had 2.6 years. Got this CataClean from a Mazda rotary parts supplier. It's supposed to be very good for the 13B engine.

Fine looking car you have, neighbour has one. For your own benefit, take a note of what the cars costing you to fill per tank, put in the Cataclean
and then you'll be able to tell if there's any change in the engine.

Mine blew out a bit of black smoke when i was running the stuff thru,
so don't panic if this happens. :pac:. It will stop and the car will tick over
    like normal.

A full tank from "empty" costs €72. I've already done an engine decarb whereby I attached a tube onto the maintenance ports of each rotor housing and fed a 2ltr bottle of water/WD-40 into each. I saw all the smoke then haha

That only cleaned the carbon off the engine but I need to use this stuff to clean the cat.

It's not sold off the shelf I don't think. I got it here: http://www.mazdarotaryparts.com/brx-8-catacleanb-1190-p.asp It's highly flammable so for obvious reasons they are shifty about posting it.

BTW, I am in no way affiliated with that company so that is not intended as spam :D
