    Just in case it helps.

    I got a UK O2 micro-sim to use as a templete for chopping my own Manx Telecom SIM.

    Got out a sewing needle and scored around the edge... Used a curved carving knife and pressed down hard on the scores to cut off the extra bits.

    Used a nail file to smooth edges. I found it easier to take a teeny corner of each to make it sit in tray easier.

    Perfecto! Worked like a charm.

    Never did I imagine that gadgets repair tools would include carving knife, sewing needle and nail file! lol :p
