First Goalscorer Query

    I did a first scorer double last week consisting of Torres & Forlan . Torres didnt start the game but he came on in the second half after the first goal was scored by the Swiss.

    For me to have won this bet would Torres have to have scored the next goal of the game even though he only got 15/20 mins?

    Forlan went onto score first for Uruguay & i was just curious if im entitled to a single on Forlan considering Torres didnt start.

    suppose it depends on bookies. I thought normally if a player doesn't start and comes on after 1st goal the bet is void...therefore in your case its a single on forlan

    yea torres is a non runner u get paid as a single bet on forlan

    Good stuff, i wasnt sure if i was entitled to anything. I did the bet in Mulhollands in Galway so hopefully they will pay out for the single on Forlan.

    On a separate note i also had a fiver on Torres as 1st scorer in that same game on Boylesports . When i checked my statement online after the game it said i had my €5 refunded as he didnt start . However today when i was checking through my statement i noticed it now has that bet down as a loss.

    Anyone have any idea whats the story with this?
