Now the car is Completly Fiberglass can anyone reccomend someone who is experianced with fiberglass? All suggestions welcome.

We will be doing it the same color,At the moment its starting to blister.. The joys of fiberglass!!

I'm not sure that's true. Crazings and stress cracks (prevelant around bonnet catch + hinge and door hinges on a Scimmie) have to be ground right back and re gel-coated before respray. Otherwise they will start to show again in a few months as the paint sinks.I think the RSSOC mag Slice had a feature on re-painting, or try the yahoo groups scimitar forum for advice.....

Throw up some photos of yours I have a '72 Irish racing green SE5a.

Mountai, thanks for advice and please do send on info...

From what i have been advised through the owners club the car needs pre baking to get all the moisture out as it can sweat when painted ... also something to do with Gel Coat??

    Not sure..

but if you have someone to reccomend.. please do send on details.

I think there's an additive required for the paint also to give it extra flexability.
