I need some help nailing a problem I'm having with my TV. I only have RTE 1+2, TV3 and TG4.

On Friday the 18th, RTE 1+2 and TV3 stopped working on my TV, nothing but snow. TG4 was working fine. The next morning all was normal. Today it happened again, except all the channels were gone. I wiggled the antenna connection and they came back. Now the question is, are the two issues related. How could a bad antenna connection have caused the loss of three channels, but not TG4? Or did RTE and TV3 just happen to fail on Friday, and I just had a bad connection today?
