Full screen flash on second monitor

One of the things I find really annoying about flash video is it won't stay full screen on my second monitor like Divx does. Once I click anywhere on the other monitor it leaves full screen.

Is there any work around for this to stop flash videos from leaving full screen as most legitimate websites like RTE and C4 use flash.

I think you should be looking at it from the application point of view.. which browser are you using to view your flash..

sounds like it minimises when the browser (clues please) loses focus

    try a different browser

try something like OOK that can download some videos and then play on VLC, or if streaming then VLC might be able to play direct

Yeah that's a good alternative, if you can wait for the stuff to download before then watching. I would recommend RealPlayer for playing back the FLV files, had a lot of trouble with FLV Player crashing when I try to play FLV files in a playlist (even with the latest version.. There's a lot of few media players out there that will play FLV, surely one of them will do what you want them to do.

If you dont want to download first, then you will need to find a browser that will let you do it. Regarding Google Chrome, I've seen people with similar issues saying that the problem can be solved by disabling the second display and re-enabling it back, but after suspend & wake-up it appears again.

It's an aspect of Flash that's there by design, I think. There are folks who've modified one or more Flash DLL files to get around this, but personally I'd say there are enough potential security issues with Flash already without adding to them by using modified DLLs. (It'd be different if you were told how to make the changes yourself, but I'm loathe to trust the innate goodwill of some random nobody on the internet when it comes to this sort of thing).
