    Guy's

Just a quick question, dose anyone know who provides the online payment system which donedeal.ie uses.

I am setting up a new website, and need a payment system like they have. My target unit price is €3, so using traditional payment system (credit/debit card) is too expensive.

    Thanks in advance

    dave

Not sure who donedeal is using but check out Realex. They have a set package for €29/month for 350 transactions.

    Thanks Dakor

Have used merchant services before, but the costs of the system are quite expensive. I have a target unit price of €3

Its not just realex payment, you have to pay banking merchant services, approx €30 per month plus fee for each transaction.
    • debit card its about 20 cent per transaction.
    • credit card its around 3 to 4 % per transaction.
also there is the purchasers Data security.

That is why you will see signs in shops stating min payment on laser/ credit cards.

I am looking to have a simple payment system, and I like the Idea of the donedeal system.

    Thanks again Dakor

donedeal use paypal and take payment from your mobile phone. the benefit of these two methods is that you don't need a merchant bank account as far as i know which is hard to get for start ups, and also it's easier than paying small amounts with a credit card, but the fees for taking payment over mobile phone are huge i think.
