What are you paying for the FIFA World Cup Stickers? I buy them in several different shops and I've paid, 60c, 67c, 70c, 80c and 90c. I know someone who has paid even more.

You're probably right Whippet and I'm told they will probably go down to 20c towards the end of the World Cup but the young lads love them but I only wondered how all the shops can just pluck a number out of thin air and they make so much money off the kids! Its a shame.

Free market. They can charge €10 if they like.

Especially with something like this that has a very limited shelf life but with high demand.

No they wont. They get recalled and pulped.

If I'm not mistaken, these stickers were released pre-World Cup and some of the players featured weren't even in the World Cup and some teams don't have World Cup players, so its a pretty crappy collection anyway.

Thanks for the link. However I don't think its quite the same as having an album in your hand, something to keep under the pillow and look at when you are supposed to be asleep!!!

is this even a consumer issue?
The RRP written on the back of the boxes is 60c, which is what I have bought them at in several shops.

Shops can charge what they like for them though
