Anyone else remember No Disco with Donal Dineen. Was just talking about in the pub the other day. A real shame it was cancelled.

It was a great program, and would be huge today with the whole indie scene talking off. I used to tape videos to a VHS (ask your parents kids!) the likes of Radiohead, Pixies, Rocket From The Crypt .To be honest though you had to sit through a fair few grainy, out-of-focus, shots-of-wierd-stuff videos and lots of the Frames and other "sensitive" strummed nonsense. After Donal Dineen left we all fell for Uaneen Fitzsimons , she was the nicest person on TV, and still missed by evertbody

Yeah, used to tape stuff from the show too, great for house partys!

Won a few CD's and tickets from that show, surprised by how many times I managed it.

Bah, Nick Dolan, I didn't quite catch your wording, ahh humbug.

Google has just revealed to me that Uaneen Fitzsimons, sadly passed away in 2000. I didn't know.

I was taking a cheap shot at the frames, especially that star star video :)

I remember this, was very sad. She really knew her stuff and I had a huge crush on her. Was a really nice show, there weren't always too many places to access alternative music at that time.

I used to watch this all the time, it was Uaneen who told me about Mogwai...

Was the show cancelled after she died? I don't remember it being on after that...
