Ok so i dont want to be stuck having to pay more money to the revenue office but i want to apply for a P21 just incase im due any money back.

How i can i check my tax and workout if im due money or not?

Ive got my PAYE anytime account setup and have been applying for rent allowance for the past two years. Thats pretty much all im claiming. Is there anything i should be claiming.

Flat rate expenses are related to your job, (sometimes called a uniform allowance) - theres an Excel spreadsheet on Revenue.ie with the list.

You can get a credit for MEdical Insurance as long as your employer pays it and charges you BIK on same. You may already have this credit, as employers provide Revenue with the details on their annual returns (p35). Its worth checking with Revenue to ensure that you are getting this credit tho.
