    Hi,

Just a quick question regarding getting off emergency tax. I've sent my 12A form the local Revenue office in order to get off emergency tax as I haven't got a P45 available. Was this the quickest way to do this?

Also when would I expect to receive my tax back from my employers, does it generally take long?

    Cheers.

The quickest way would have been to ring the Revenue's PAYE helpline, you need your PPS number and your employer's registration number to register you with your new employer.

Once your new employer receives your certificate of tax credits then you should get your tax back in your next payslip.
