Woodwork/Construction Studies Teacher?

    Hi all,

Im currently finishing a PGCE (English equivalent to H.dip) in England that qualifies me to teach design and tecnology, resistant materials and electronics.

I'm from Ireland and would like to return home to teach woodwork, construction studies and tech. graphics. Can anybody give me some pointers as to how I can go about applying for jobs in the Republic?

Also, are there many jobs in this field at the moment? And do you know if having a PGCE is as attractive to schools as having qualifications form Ireland?

    Any help is greatly appriciated,

    Conor
