Astra 28 Angle Please

I tried a few online satellite calculators, but I was unable to arrive at an answer due to my ignorance of the technical terms.

I'm trying to work out whether a neighbour's tree is starting to interfere with my Sky reception. What angle is the satellite from the ground? (0 being the horizon and 90 overhead)

    I'm near Ardee N53.8668, W6.5447

When I get the angle I'll make up a wooden triangle to reproduce it, and do a line of sight test at the dish. For accuracy I'll attach a spirit level and my high powered green laser to the triangle.

The astra satellites are approximately 22degrees elevation. Sun position at 11.00 will give the approximate bearing to the satellite.

Thanks for the info. I set up my device as described and the laser was hitting some leaves. Now for for a bit of neighbourly diplomacy.
