    Hey all.

I know classifieds is already done more times than needed but I am hoping to come in at a different angle with this one once pricing is introduced.

Looking for peoples thoughts on the Site more so than the "classifieds" as a business really.

    www.AdSpace.ie

    Thanks all.

I like the category layout, but not the recent ads listing (I know it's important, I just don't like the layout). Also the logo is very 80s, not sure if that's intentional or not. Search bok is a bit high.

Put the facebook badge under the sponsor.

Also, how'd you get your sponsor ?

Tom only suggestion i can offer is, get a logo designed.

If i was to happen onto that site i would leave just because of the logo. It looks cheap and fake...

Dont mean to offend but dont like beating around the bush ether.

OK, Logo issue is taken on board. I done it up myself but then I am not a graphic's designer so its no wonder its not upto scratch.

I'll pass it onto someone to design a few forr me and post here for opinions when they're done.

When you say the "layout" are you referring to the content.??
Picture, Title, Price? I had left this as the only content to hopfuly draw people further into the site rather than just the first page but I am open to changing this also.

    Thanks again Guys

    This site can be OK for logo making;

    http://www.logomaker.com/

I've played with it a small bit, and made a few logos for a forum I have (not for money or business or anything, though). Apparently you can get the logo to use online as much as you like for free, but only have to pay to use it in reality (i assume that if you pay, they'll give you a much higher resolution verson of the logo?)

Haven't used it in a while, but it's not too shabby.

Not much use with websites or design, but as a Joe Soap, I like your site. It's nice and clean looking. Not cluttered or awkward.

I'd drop the sponsor thing though. I see why you're using it (or at least I assume I do; to lend some legitimacy/authenticity to the site? "If Microsoft sponsor it, it has to be good!"? I'd really drop it. It could potentially cause hassle, no?).

stick an ad in a local paper, and change the "sponsored by XBox" to "As Seen in (Paper Name)" and I reckon you'd be a bit better off.

    Hi Tom,

I mean the grid that the categories are laid out in, it's crisp & clear. I don't like the forum style listings below it. You could maybe just have it show images from the latest ads (like adverts.ie)

Thanks for the reply iMax. I'll have a play with it and see what I can come up with.

Feel free to post on the site if you wish it is free after all. :)

Thanks for the input KKV and the link (I will give that a look over) but as suggested above I may be better off looking for a graphic designer to do it as they do know best on branding etc.

My main hope was to have a site which was clear and "visual" so hopefully my site is coming across as that. As for Joe Soap. that = target audience so hopefully its a hit with them.

The sponsor thing was actually unintentional. I had a space to fill and thrown in what ever google provided in the correct size, this will be changed in short for maybe a google ad or similar.
    Thanks again

Thanks for the reviews of the site guys.

I have changed a few things since the comments.

    Added Facebook/Twitter/RSS feed buttons.

Changed Sponsor to Advertisement and have left blank until I get some Advertising sold to fill some spaces.
    Lowered Search box
Tightened the Gap between the header bar and the Cat's

Logo is been worked on as most people on here don't seem to like it.

Although I would love to do a poll on this as others outside seem to like it.
Hard to tell what to do when it come to logo's
