NO VLC/NCT - how do I find out date of 1st registration?

    Hello,

    I've just bought a second hand car that nees to be NCT'd. I don't have the VLC as the previous owner lost it and is waiting on a replacement. I want to book the car in for the NCT as soon as possible, but need the date of first registration to book the test. Anyone know how else i'd find that out?

    Whats the reg number? Should be able to estimate the month based on high how or low once its not an import. Block the last 3 digits just incase.

    You need the exact date of registration to book an NCT online.

    Thanks for the replies guys. I was trying to book it online alright. Rang them just now & they said they could book me in if I had the chassis number, so I'll get that this evening.

    edit: PM sent to Motorcheck, but looks like I won't need it now. Thanks though!

    PM Motorcheck, iirc he will be able to give you your chassis number by email or PM and you can ring them back and book it straight away.

    this is the time of day to be checking for an cancelations too ;)
