    Alright lads,

A regular poster on one of the Sunderland forums is the brother-in-law of Jim Gannon and has been spot on with information regarding jobs he is going to accept/turn down etc, in the past.

He has come on tonight and said that Jim Gannon has virtually accepted the Stockport County job, and it could be confirmed as early as tomorrow.

Just to prove this is genuine, here's a link to the thread:

    http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=502986

He's the current favourite, but I've been told (can't confirm) that he is avaliable at 6/4 on SkyBet, but like his brother-in-law has said in the above thread it could be confirmed as early as tomorrow.

It's certainly worth a bet lads, IMO, given the posters track record.

    Best of luck.

He did mate, until 2009 when he left for Motherwell.

Done Deal Apparently, nothing on Skybet website though, a better bet though is them to win League 2 at 50s for an interest, if Gannon does take over(which should happen) then who knows....

    Brgds
    Johnny
