    Hi everyone,

I am planning to go out in Dublin on Friday night with a couple of friends. We are all in our early thirties and single.. I would appreciate any suggestions on where to go out..

Do you want to go out in north county Dublin or would you travel into town?

I think for taxi reasons, we'd prefer to stay in north co. Dublin..

    Wrights Swords!

NOT Wrights venue, the old Wrights!

Blue Bar in Skerries. Great spot. Lots of lovely European beers and cocktails.

I'd also recommend the old Wrights in Swords and Blue Bar in Skerries. Or Gibneys in Malahide.

Harbour Knights (O'Sheas) in Balbriggan has Rattle and Hum, a brilliant U2 cover band on Friday night if thats your type of thing.

Another vote for Blue in Skerries. Lovely spot.

If it is for taxi reasons then Skerries is going to be as expsensive to get to if you are going from Swords, don't forget the city centre has the night link, only a 5er :)

We ended up going to Wright Venue in Swords after the Harp bar and Wrights. Really enjoyed the Purple Room, and there was a good mix of all ages. Will defo go there again.. Thsnks for the suggestions!
