Key has been opening door sporidically, rarely works on the first try, always works when I shake the key and pound on the button. Don't think it is a battery problem but willing to take those…

Key has been opening door sporidically, rarely works on the first try, always works when I shake the key and pound on the button. Don't think it is a battery problem but willing to take those suggestions on board. Was going to get the battery replaced on Sat to see and the thing worked beautifully all day!!

Thoughts?
