Anyone know what the story with 5 Live Sports Extra is? There seems to be a blackout on the game at the moment. Any idea why?

Don't know - I'm listening to it on TMS on Radio 4 LW, via the net on my phone. You could also use the BBC or Cricinfo text commentary.

Maybe 5LSE is concentrating on the tennis?

I'm no historian of the game but that's got to be up there as one of the great innings by an Irishman. Granted it's game 1 of an ODI series and he's playing for England. Sound logic or open season on me for ridicule and derision?

I was pondering that myself last night, but it can't have been that different from Joyce's? I know Morgan's was better to watch, but playing in Sydney against a better Aussie team has to be taken into consideration?

NOB's famous knock in the Pakistan game has to be up there, but after that it's a bit difficult to compare innings against Scotland, UAE or Bermuda in recent times, or tons against MCC, I Zingari or Oxford Univ years ago.

I suppose it's only recently that Irish players have had the opportunity to play great knocks. It doesn't matter how well Ivan Anderson batted in his 198 against Canada, could it really compare with a modern game in front of millions, with all that is at stake?
