Program to take info from IMDB?

Does anyone know if there's a good program that can query IMDB (by entering a URL) and then return various database info related to that particular url (eg title , runtime, release years etc etc) in txt format?

I know such programs exist but there doesn't seem to be anything out there that is simple and straighforward to use and I was hoping someone could recommend me a good one.

    Thanks

I'm not aware of any legitimate one, having looked at this recently - not least because, unless it's a paid-for application, it would be in violation of the IMDB terms of use as far as I know.

IMDB does let you download text versions of a load of its information, but their product is the database schema which links all the disparate tables together in a meaningful way. There's nothing to stop you downloading the files from IMDB here and creating a new database yourself using that data - but you'd need to put in the donkey-work of creating a table schema.

There are a few IMDB web scrapers out there. There was one for XMBC at some stage (http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Scrapers).

Java Movie Database sounds like the best bet for you.
