ConvertXtoDVD or Nero, for VOB (DVD) conversion.
Riverpast Video Cleaner Pro is a good one for general conversion but there's nearly too many codecs to choose from.

Handbrake and DVD43 ( I think it's DVD43, either way, it's a program that rips through the copy protection ).
