    Howaye lads!
    so Le chat's principle tomorrow?
    heres a tough one i'm on if someone can shed light

    2HI--->H2 + I2

    two moles of hydrogen Iodide placed in a vessel Kc is .0156
    calculate number of moles of hydrogen iodide present

    i'm usually fairly good at these but this ones a toughie i wrote down

    2-2x---->x x

    then got Kc as [x]^2 over (2-2x)^2 is equal to .0156

    looks dodgy?:eek:

    not very good at this,but cancel the square roots get the square root of .0156 and then cross multiply?
