Was just wondering what the course is like, does it have PB potential?

This is a new course for the South O'Hanlon Race. Up to this they had used a 4 mile course around Navan.

Options would be to take N3 to Navan and go out from there or take N2.

This might help locate it better....

It was a grand evening for this race, I enjoyed it.
It wasn't as bumpy as Dunshaughlin but the head wind got me on the last 500M.
    Some pix up here
    Any results yet

Yeah over 200 I believe. Weather was fanstastic, I found the first three k a bit hilly over the railway bridge then a right along a fairly hilly stretch, but there was a grand downhill stretch from the church which was heaven !. One of the funniest things I ever seen at the race start..One of the runners (Not sure why ?!!) went in to a high walled garden at the start line, and while he was in there the electric gates closed and he couldn't get out. Felt sorry for him, but I nearly fell on the ground with the laughter. Anyway someone arrived at the gates in a car and was able to let him out and get on with the race !!. Yes anyone know where the results are ?. Very impressed last night I received a text telling me my finishing time !. All in all a great night and now I know how to get there "I'LL BE BACK"!!!!!:)

I didn't get the text with my time :o(. Thats why I really want to have a look at the results. I too saw the runner getting trapped behind the gates. Poor guy really embarressing for him, but funny for everyone else.....

Mick Traynor wins again, jesus he's some runner !, he seems to win everything he run's in these day's, and what a time !, I'd hardly cycle around in that time, brilliant !. Thanks again to the wonderful members of SOH for a tremendous race and one of the warmest welcomes I've ever had at a race, this club really had a homely feeling about which is great in these days of mein feinerism!, they'd time for a chat and a cup of tea after the race, super course as well, looking forward already to next year !, keep up the good work.:)

This race is typical of the standard of all the road races held in Meath.
