Just a quick one that I`m sure has been answered before but I can`t find the thread....

I set up a simple website using a google app a few months ago but I since had reason to upgrade the website and change its name. I therefore purchasesed the domain name from a company. My question is, how easy is it to "connect" this webpage with the new domain name?

As you can ather I`m bit of novice in these matters...any help would be appraciated.

    Thanks

Without knowing more about your current setup, there are a few options.
    • Changing the DNS records of your new domain to point to your Google site (although I have no experience with Google Apps and don't know if you can do it)
    • A 301 redirect from the old to the new (but you will need a hosting package along with that shiny new domain)
    • Parking your new domain with a host and redirecting to the old site.
