    Hey there.

I applied too and did the aptitude test - it's logical reasoning and they give you a practice test. Those tests are interesting enough to do, and once you practice you'll know what to look out for in the real test.

I got a message today (day after test) saying i was successful, that they are looking through the candidates that passed and will inform me of the next step in the process. Sounds like an interesting job too!

Anyone work with Vodafone or have any insight into the company/programme?

Got reply today saying they reviewed my answers to the questions and they aren't taking my application any further.

    Another rejection. Good luck Caoimh37!

The questions that you answer as part of the initial application.

There was only a day between passing the test and getting rejected, so they must've just dumped half the applicants randomly or ran a search for keywords or something! I'm sure loads applied for the Grad programme.

    Again, good luck all!

Hi there I had my phone interview yesterday at 10:30am just wondering has anyone heard back wether they have made it thru to the assessment day?

I had the phone interview in the same day (24/06/10) and I was told I get an answer by the end of the week. It has been nearly a week now and no news from them. I called the ph number provided in their emails, but no answer. I just hate to wait. Did anybody get anything back from them?

Got an email 2 days ago on Monday telling me I'd been chosen to come to an assessment day on the 6th so good news for me!

    Well done. Good luck, ajmorno!
Has anyone else got an answer back after the phone interview, either a negative one?

I know someone who went to the UK one and were told not to wear a suit

I'll be there Wednesday tho, good luck!

    Hey everyone!
I applied to the UK one earlier on in the year and got to the Experience Day. It said smart casual as well and I was really unsure about what to wear (I'm a girl, I think it's easier for guys!) In the end, I didnt wear a suit but wore black pants, a dressy workish type shirt and heels and that was pretty much what everyone was in. A full on suit would have looked abit out of place. All the vodafone people were pretty casual (The head of the Grad scheme was wearing a really casual top, jeans and brown flat boots over the jeans!)

I don't know if they'll take the same format here but in the UK they had "speed dating" interviews. You had five ten minute interviews with five different people, who each had one main question to ask you. After there was a group task, and there was one vodafone person watching each candidate. It was actually a pretty enjoyable day, they were big into giving you tours and showing you what life in Vodafone would be like.
    Good luck!

Cheers for pointing us in the right direction! You get the job/going to this experience day??

If anyone's headed tomorrow and want to meet up just before it or something, pop up a message.

Nope didn't get a job on the UK one and applied to this again and didn't make it past the first round! Got a job since though so it's all good. Vodafone gave everyone feedback afterwards if you wanted it, which was quite helpful! Good Luck!

So is anyone here who went through the Experience?

How are you feeling? The one week period has only begun and I'm already getting butterflies!

Yes went through it. I wouldn't worry about it, you have a decent chance of getting it (1 in 3). Well done on getting to the last 30, no mean feat in the face of 622 applicants.

    Nope not yet, you?

Slightly feeling the nerves a little today... As you can see quite on the ball with checking my emails!

No haven't heard anything. Thought they would have got back sooner... don't know whether that is a good or bad thing.

Well still the same round here.

Either we're both in or we're both out!!! :p

I reckon it's just because it's a busy time in Vodafone, I heard that there is a lot going on internally round there so no doubt the whole place is pretty hectic at the moment. I know there's a team handling the grads, but I'd say they're probably just balancing a few things at once - hopefully we both hear good news though! ;)

I think they said it would probably be Tuesday anyway

Didn't get it. They just phoned there. If you get the Indian bloke who did the phone interview I suspect you didn't get it.

Best of luck to you both.

Could barely understand a word he said with all of the interference but eventually deciphered that is going to be a no for me. Happy the waiting is over, but obviously blows.

    Good luck to everyone else!
