FS: Giant Defy 2.5 (2009), size M

About to put my Giant Defy 2.5 (2009) bike up for sale. Bought it in Feb '09 and it's done approx 1,200 miles at this stage.
It's a size M which is 50cm, i'm 5ft 10" and it was a perfect fit. (Link: http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-gb/bikes/road/2428/32461/)

I paid €870 for it last year - just wondering what you guys would think a fair price would be to ask for this at this time?

No damage to the bike at all - no scratches etc.

I would say ask €550 but you will be lucky to get around €500. Its a buyers market and unfortunately its only worth what the buyer is willing to pay for it. A quick search in gumtree abd adverts.ie shows around the €500 region. Nice starter bike for anyone interested. Good luck with the sale

Hi Velo,

Where abouts are you because I would be interested in having a look if ya in Galway. Have two racers myself and i need to upgrade as they are too small and would be interested in trading or the like if your interested.

On another note i also have a small old enough mountain bike and just wondering is there any point even trying to sell it or is stuff selling.

Thanks guys. I was hoping to get at least €500 for it as it is quite a good bike. Good to know that i wasn't hoping for too much.

Think you should open a new thread for this one DonalK, and put in some more info (i.e. price, age of bike, size etc). Should get it shifted quicker for you.
