Cut in hours

My hours have been cut for next year, nothing I did or did not do, just the way things are going. Live in Galway but don't work there. Can ye think of any other ways to make money? I've done loads of grinds in the past but they seem to be drying up a bit. I'll barely be on more than the dole and after 5 years teaching and 5 years in college I feel rather annoyed. I will contemplate anything, cleaning or barwork if nothing educational out there. Pain in the butt recession. Any ideas please? I'm at my wits end.

Night classes, do they do them at the place you are working?

Is there a teacher centre that organises subbing? That situation might have changed but they would ring you for a couple of days/hours work on a last minute basis (come in this morning!)

I would say very few people gained hours this year, I was lucky in that I only lost one hour, but there are others that have lost a lot.

PM me, have lots of work going that I'm not in a position to do myself this year. Things will improve.
