I've just recently bridged my WRT54G (running DD-WRT24sp2) to my UPC router (latest model).
What I'd like to do is have wired clients connected to the WRT54G have internet access and prevent certain wireless clients on the network from seeing them. Is this possible ??

yes - you need different VLANs.

    VLAN1 for wired clients

    VLAN2 for wireless

And make sure there is no bridging between the vlans

Do you want any wireless clients to see the wired? Or none at all?

I need one wireless client to be able to just browse the net , so port 80 access and nothing else. The other clients, be they wired or wireless should be able to see everything.

have a gander through these pages on the dd-wrt wiki:

    http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Multiple_WLANs

    http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Separate_LAN_and_WLAN

Sounds like you want to do a fusion of both...
