why is there no -1.5 handicap on Betfair for this?

same as the Brazil game earlier, wasnt there and of course they won by 2 in the ends ffs.

anyway i fancy Chile -1.5 tomorrow.

    My treble for today

D Villa to score in 90 minutes and Spain to win the match @ 8/13
    Chile/Switzerland - both teams to score? NO @ 4/6
Portugal/NK time of 1st goal after 26th min evns

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,988 ✭✭✭SirDelboy18

Alexis Sanchez Anytime Scorer - 23/10
    €20 win

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11 Alan Hansen

    2-2

I'm not a betting man but I feel this will be a game of two halves. Both teams going at it hammer and tongs.

Well after putting together several successful trebles in this WC so far yesterday didn't go so well. 0/3, although two were mighty close, close doesn't win you money though does it.

    June 21st Treble

Por v NK - 1st goal after 26th min (evens)
Chi v Swi - Chile to win (5/4)
Spa v Hon - Spain to win both halves (evens)

    Combined odds of 8/1.

Koreans organisation and workrate against Brazil was very impressive. 9/1 to win this one which is tempting but Portugals defensive record in recent times has to be respected. Hard to believe there wont be a goal but I don't think it'll come early. I'll be going with a win for Chile for a number of reasons. 1. The form of the South Americans at this WC so far (7 wins, 2 draws). 2. Chile are a damn good football team (capable of great things at this WC) and H. Suazo returns. 3. Sanchez. 4. I fully expect Swi to play an identical game as against Spain and I just can't see them repeating what they managed in that one. 5. Sanchez again. Lastly I feel Spain can rack up a comprehensive win over Honduras. Honduras were rubbish against Chile and should of lost by at least 2 goals. Torres should start alongside Villa and I hope/expect to see Navas (quality) come in for Silva (useless). I wouldn't be surprised to see Spain win this by 4 or 5 but as far as my treble is concerned 1-0 both halves will do.

NK 1 Por 0 - J. Tae Sae goal 125/1. Might put a few pence on that too.

    Good Luck.

    Chile -0.5&-1.0 @ 2.6

    Suazo anytime @ 3.0

Really fancy Chile here, very impressive against Honduras.

11/10 is generous, bookies must be taking into account the defensive record of the Swiss. But IMO that's ancient history.

    Chile all the way here.

    Double
    Chile win
    Villa anytime

Also gone with this 7.50 euro bet 30 back if it wins.

4/1 on Chile -1 handicap made yesterday... even more confident with Suazo starting whom I also have a euro on for 2 or more @ 14/1

ive layed over 1.5goals at 1.5
and had a small bet on no scorer at 8.2 (looks unlikely now)

The ref is a lunatic -

I was going to do it as the ref's name looked familiar. But the game started before i could find the info. It was the ref's name i was thinking of and all and knew he was card happy. Anyways would have only been a small bet so not too bothered.

    Bet In-Running

    Suazo 1st goalscorer @ 5/1

Would this be refunded since he was subbed before the 1st goal?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,136 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

Bollox thats that bet gone now hes off at half time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

    Bah, Sanchez goal disallowed

No once he was on the field before the first goal was scored the bet will still stand. Only works if the first goal was scored and he came on after it.

    Balls on him.

    Gone with two 1st goalscorers now;

    Sanchez @ 11/2
    Fernadaz @ 10/1

Come on Sanchez ffs. Should've finished that

Have this one down for a draw. I'd say both would be happy enough with that, 2 games in both on 4 points!

Swiss a man down will sit and defend for the majority of 2nd half like the Spain match. 0-0 please!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 407 ✭✭niallith

chile ont behappy with a draw im sure theyl b expectin spain to bounce back and beat them , and will expect the swiss to beat honduras, so im sure theyl b all out to win, but looks like itl end a draw unfortunatly for me as i bet on a chile win

Doubt the Chileans would be too happy. 4 points may not be enough to get them through. Switzerland should beat Honduras who at that stage may well be playing for nothing. And with Chile's next game being a difficult one against Spain they would want to win here.

Anyways threw 20 on Chile to score @ 2.20.

A little over 35e profit from this one. Keeping the big bet for the later game so hopefully this increases tonight.

Didn't expect NK to play like that the gombeens so got a bit lucky there. C'mon Spain, do the job for me now.

2-0 to Spain, this is looking safe now :) even though Villa just missed a penalty for his hattrick
