folks has anyone got a spreading guide for cosmo wagtail spreader or how do ye regulate them, dont have any chart on the hopper but have a little slider thingy where you put in kg/per hectare and speed etc which give you a figure, you are then supposed to match this figure to a chart in the book but its all a bit long winded and not sure about it..any ideas?

we had a cosmo cant remember off hand think it was about 6/7 (1 to 1.5 bags per ac.) for grazing or 8/9 (approx. 3 bags p ac. ) for silage driving at 8 to 10 miles per hour.

try to set it up in a small field , and you will have to learn by trial and error 'cos even different size granules will vary the application rate

one thing i do remember about the the cosmo was NOT a to have too high pto revs, too fast on the pto will result with most on the fertilizer going to either side and very little going directly behind the tracor
