Wii not working online

    Hi all,

    I haven't used my Wii in a while and when I tried to play online this evening, it won't connect. My net connection (UPC through a WRG614) is working fine on my laptop and iPod touch but I keep getting error 52230 on the Wii.

    I ran wireshark to see what's going on and it looks like the Wii is trying to ping a website called conntest.nintendowifi.net which isn't up. I can get an IP for it (192.195.204.216) but can't connect using IE or telnet. When the Wii doesn't get a response, it assumes the net connection is down and won't work.

    Is anyone else having the same problem or can anyone suggest any solution?

    I've also got UPC and I was setting up a Wii last nite and got error code 32002.
    The internet connection test says its succeeded but when I try and do an update it fails.
    The weather channel works fine but the news channel too an age to download its info so i stopped it.

    I forgot to post back to this. I tried again the next morning and it worked fine so I guess it was a glitch with UPC.
