    Anybody know where I can get a street map of Enniscorthy in 1929?

    Another good shop to check out: http://www.georgesstreetarcade.ie/stokes-books/index.php - give Stephen Stokes a ring and if he doesn't have it he should be able to give you a few pointers. :)

    The main survey of Ireland was cica 1922. So there are many of theses maps still used today.
    The 1:10,560 is still used for Planning Permission - very small scale.

    The Town Council would have the 1922 map. The Library should also have a copy. It could be viewed for free at Ardcavan.

    Contact the OS in Dublin, Waterford or Kilkenny if you want to purchase the map.
