    *old school alert*

I have connected the aerial to the "antenna in" on the VCR and RF out to the TV. I can tune in the analogue signals but not the DTT, is it simply beyond the capabilities of my deck or am I missing a trick?

    Philips manual pdf

(I also have a Thomson Skybox linked to the VCR and then to the TV with scarts)

The TV has one scart and 1 aeriel in
The VCR has two scarts 1 aeriel in and 1 RF out
The Sky Box has two scarts and two RF out and 1 aeriel in

First of you need a DTT mpeg4 tuner.
No VCR exists with a mpeg4 digital tuner AFAIK.
Only option is record from scart or rf output from a mpeg4 set-top box

Cheers, I did wonder. Hardly worth the bother for 3 channels which may or may not be permenant.

This is WHY my mantra is
    1) Wait till official launch (as Analogue switch off has to be later)
    2) Don't fuss about TV with DTT, most people will want a dual tuner DTT DVR / PVR setbox. Which since it records the digital stream as a copy, gives playback quality the same as live TV, unlike VHS which is terrible.
