Xtravision Application Questions???

I have just recently finished my A levels and thought that it should be in my best interest to go and get myself a job.

I have never held down a job before so I am completely new to this and I have probably very obvious questions that I need answered.

Any first of all I got an application form from xtravision and filled it out and I am unsure if I send it in store in which I have applied for or do I send it to their Human Resources.

Another thing is that I am unsure whether I need to supply them with a CV or is just an application form enough?

Furthermore, is this a good job for an 18 year old who wants to save up for Uni?

    Thanks in advance :)

Probably would be a good idea to send it into the store you wish to work. If you're applying for multiple stores, send it to HR or and make a copy for each store.

Just the application form should be enough. If it states to include a CV, then do. If not, the application form should be enough.

Any job that pays minimum wage is :)

First job.. I remember those days! One piece of advice, work is not like school, and bosses are not like teachers. Put yourself in their shoes, pretty much anyone can do the job, it comes down to you being sound and reliable, rather than all that teamwork shíte they told you in school.

By the way, companies get a lot of CVs and application forms, whether or not you get along with the person you talk to can determine whether your CV is on the top of the pile or the bottom (or in the bin!)

I work in Xtravision atm, your best bet OP is to send it to HR instead of individual shops, and when filling out what shops you can work in list as many as you can work in.

Just bring your CV to the interview if you manage to get one.
