Bit of a long-shot this, which will go straight over the heads of most people who might read this, but does anyone out there still have, or remember having, their I.D. cards related to the TV series?

I still have mine, signed and authorised by the head of UNCLE, Alexander Waverly!

As far as I can remember, this was organised by "Smiths" crisps as a promotional prop.

Coded letters would be sent to us nine and ten-year-olds, telling us all about the exploits of special agents, Napoleon Solo and Ilya Kuryakin, and warning us about the dangers posed by the baddies, "T.H.R.U.S.H" (I know, they could have used another set of initials less likely to provoke juvenlie sniggers!).

I also have a vague recollection of a UNCLE Convention that "Smiths"organised in the old Adelphi cinema and there were a lot of excited agents munching crisps and lemonade!

I remember my i.d. card very well - i wish i still had it and the decoder so that you could read the messages and of course the triangular badge . I don't remember the U.N.C.L.E convention , I missed out on that !
