iPhone Cellular Data question

I have an unlocked 2g iPhone running on the Meteor network. My problem is that it keeps loosing the cellular data settings. I type the settings in, save them and restart the phone. I type the settings in, save them and restart the phone. They persist for a while but after a couple of hours, the phone reports that it cannot connect to the internet and when I look in the cellular data section of the network settings, the previously filled fields are blank.

Does anybody have an idea what is going on here?
