As if Glee wasn’t a big enough hit on the small screen, Fox’s beloved musical television series could get even bigger with the news that there is potential for three films based on the show. HollywoodLife.com exclusively learned that Glee’s series regulars signed contracts that commit them to up to three Glee movies with 20th Century Fox Television. The studio included the “option” in the contracts to have its actors, including Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron, and Mark Salling, star in a potential trifecta of film versions. The language reads, “[The actor] hereby grants Fox three exclusive, irrevocable options to engage [the actor] in up to, respectively, three feature-length motion pictures.” Gleeks should be breaking into joyous song right about now.

I wouldn't welcome a movie, I'd see it as a distraction from the series, and personally I don't think it would fit well

^ problem is...Fox *need* to cash in, Glee is one of there most expensive shows to make. You can guarantee cast contract costs shot up after the success. These movies seem like a cash cow.

It's got an air of "High School Musical" about this, films thrashed out in quick sequence to cash in....not a good sign!
