Any of ye guys doing the leaving in 2012 watch out for announcements over the summer by colleges if they will be giving extra points for leaving cert higher maths. Choose wisely in september whether you want to do honours or pass.…

I'm doing higher in everything (havent decided yet but might do OL irish) and I like maths a lot

First they bring in project maths, a course that is supposedly substantially easier and would lower the standards of maths for many students entering third level education. And now colleges are giving extra points for the supposedly easier course. Wut?
