I got a new mouth guard yesterday (lost the old one, don't know where).

Wore it last night - now can't get the damn thing off. Its stuck on a back molar that isn't 100% and everytime I try to get it off, I feel pain there.

Can't afford to break the tooth - heading off on hols in a couple of days time...

    WHAT CAN I DO, PLEASE......

Gargling with olive oil at the moment.

Thanks to all of you who have read this...

Good news is that I rang a dentist on spec (my own guy doesn't work on a Saturday) and he saw me very quickly.

The guard was finally removed using a lot of vaseline, some floss, some tugging and some prayers.

    Whew.....

I'm really appreciative of this dentist and his wonderful receptionist but know they will become <snip> if I mention their names :D:D:D
