Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

the only shock result to me so far was Spain losing, the rest were just badly priced by the bookies IMO

ive backed the "underdog" in alot of the games and won a few quid, Japan, Serbia, Mexico being the highlights, Ivory Coast and USA coming close.

I wouldnt go blindly backing teams that are 2nd favourite but really think the Aussies have a great shout tomorrow and will be backing them.

Chile @ 6/1 V's Spain is a great price too, should be 9/4 tops imo.

i agree with most of that
some teams are ridiculously priced and since i started laying them
ive been making a small profit
i did think england would win but at 1.25 i just had to lay them along
with germany at 1.67 as i just didnt rate the aussies at all and thought
it was a possibility that germany were flattered
Ive backed them to finish last in their group from the start at 13/10 also.

big price on chile alright assuming they havent all but qualified by then.
i do fancy ghana tomorrow and will only do a small bet on them simply
because ive invested in the group already
I disagree with the aussies though
best case scenario i see for them is a draw
i cant see them beating ghana

    They're about 1/2 or 8/15

No, what price do you make them?

oh right, i'd probably have them just odds on 4/5 or 4/6.

That's a massive over-round on the book. With Spain at 4/5, Paraguay are maybe a 3/1 shot.

13/2 on Betfair though so still way above your price guide. Good to see people assigning their own prices as a basis to their betting.

If you think Spain should be 4/5 and Chile 9/4, then the draw would have to be 13/2 for a 100% book?

I've been looking at the handicaps on the dogs and the bookies seem to have that angle covered too in a lot of the games so far (although a few of the upcoming 1's seem overpriced to me). Their prices so far on the +1 for the underdogs have been way too short but they are getting away with it.

I'm struggling terribly to find any markets which they've priced up incorrectly (for the side of the bettor).

The tournament does seem to be opening up now though so there may be some value to be had in certain goal markets before they wise up.

Brazil to score 2 or more tonight is evens on Boyle, I'd estimate that at about 60% meaning there is decent value.
