Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

im thinking evens about ghana is very decent

i dont rate the aussies at all and think theyll do
very well to get a point from this

also looking at gyan anytime at 2s

even -1 at 10/3 looks tempting

I may go with the Socceroos on this one. They should be out to prove a point and I wasnt too impressed with Ghana the last day. Anyway I'll leave it till just before the match.

Aussies definitely the value here for me. 15/8 before their first match and out to 10/3 now.

Australia 100% need the win = so will have to attack thus exposing their dodgy defence even more. Ghana with their pace and energy will cause them problems IMO.

    With that said.

Might have double on Ghana + Denmark win and Bendtner + Gyan to score. 1 euro = 20.25 euro return.

The draw is at 9/4 as well so will have a little on that as well.

Australia don't have the ability to score many goals.

1-1 @7.4 looks quite solid to me.

Australia are poor side and Ghana will be stronger and faster. Even money on Ghana looks like free money.

I think Australia's backline could be exploited by the likes of Gyan and the pace of Tagoe. With no Cahill its hard to see where goals will come from.

I'll see how the Holland game goes then have a look at starting line-ups for this game before betting

The value bet is with the aussies at 12/5 with PP, and you'd
expect them to come out fighting. But the loss of Cahill and what
looked like a fairly fragile defence, combined with a strong and
pacey Ghana team means I'm not gonna go against
the grain here and am taking the 6/5 with PP on Ghana.

i've 30 euro on ghana win

and a 25 euro double on holland win and ghana win

I think Ghana are great value @ 10/11 to be winning at ht OR ft.

    Asamoah Gyan anytime scorer 2/1
    Emerton anytime scorer 10/1

If teams are level on points after the 3rd match, is goal difference the first deciding factor in who goes through? also what is the best result in this match for germany? a draw?

Took Ghana -1 at 4/1. Can't see Australia scoring, and their defence is a shambles.

COME ON GHANA,we need another goal.

no way Kewell should have been sent off, who could get their arm out of the way when ball is blasted from point blank range. Very unfair.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 605 ✭✭✭Lmao_Man

Dotcom13 - did you by see it in slow motion ? He moved his hand towards the ball.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 66 ✭✭dotcom13

Yea but super slow motion makes things look different than they really are...

    Still unfair...

Ghana dont look like scoring here at all the donkeys.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,936 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

such an opportunity to sail through to the last 16 for them
    and theyre blowing it
its highly unlikely theyll beat or even draw with germany
and that may well knock them out
